Camp Facilities

Camp Hobé is held at Camp Wapiti in Settlement Canyon near Tooele, Utah. The Utah Elks built and fund the facility, which is used by other health camps throughout the year. The site includes

  • A main lodge
  • 17 cabins
  • Shower and bath facilities
  • An infirmary with treatment and isolation rooms
  • Recreational facilities that include an outdoor pavilion, swimming pool, arts and crafts cabin, and sand pit volleyball court

Camp Wapiti is a beautiful place, facilitating both the medical and camping needs of the children. Oncology-trained pediatric nurses and a pediatric physician staff the onsite infirmary, providing medications and routine care during the camp session.

Campers are assigned to specific cabin groups based on their age. They live with this group during their stay at camp, eating meals, sleeping, and participating in activities together. The entire camp comes together at mealtimes, morning flagpole ceremony, evening campfire, and for other special activities.

The kitchen staff prepares fresh, well-balanced meals for campers daily.
