Smith’s / Kroger Inspiring Donations Program
This is a fundraising program for schools and other nonprofit agencies. Under the Inspiring Donations Program, once an individual nonprofit (like Camp Hobé) signs up, Smith’s Food and Drug tracks the dollar amount of purchases made by people who support that nonprofit. Each quarter, Smith’s donates a total of $500,000 to all the enrolled agencies (or $2 million each year). Each agency receives a donation from Smith’s in the amount of 0.5% of their supporters’ purchases for that quarter. For example, if Camp Hobé supporters spend $10,000 on purchases through Inspiring Donations from January through March, then Camp Hobé would receive 0.5% of this total, or $50. Inspiring Donations is a super easy way to buy stuff you need and help Camp Hobé at the same time!!! And, it costs you nothing.
